MOVIES SHARING: Never Let Me Go...

That was such a long time never post any new blog. Probably, it is boring to hear my story! haha... I would prefer share with you of what other's story! Thus, movie sharing definitely is the best. :)

You would call me emo guy, or whatever, but, I do admit that I like to watch some very depth, emotional and presumably confusing movies. ;) Recent, no, just now, I was finished watched a movie, a pathetic movie - Never Let Me Go. It's title attracted me, I thought it is some kind of horror movie, conversely, it was a sad and sci-fi movie (IMDB, 2010).

This movie is actually inspired from a Japanese writer, Kazuo Ishiguro. There were three children, Kathy (Carey Mulligan), Tommy (Andrew Garfield) and Ruth (Keira Knightley, when she appeared, she really surprise me!) who grow up together and studied in same school, Hailsham at the countryside. They are even worst than the orphan, as they grown up as adult, they would be a donor, fully donor till the end of life. The school only emphasizes strict discipline, and cultivate their creative and art, which make sure they have a healthy life so that they will be a healthy donor in future. How pathetic it is!

There is a threesome relationship between three of them, where Ruth was jealous on Kathy and interfere the relationship between Tommy and Kathy. However, I was kind of lack interest on viewing the struggle of love relationship between them. Instead, I'm thinking, what is the real meaning of their life? The greatest thing gifted from God to human is decision-making. We do have the decision for any aspect of our life. But they seem like a poor obedient, who have not right to possess even their own body, in fact, their life are belong to others.

The whole movie is winter, it really portrayed they are in the world of sadness and helpless. They were stayed somewhere very rural place and showed that they are almost quarantine with the society (called it as cottage). They even feel awkward when first time having foods at outside! It's that the purpose they Made for the society, as a "raw tool" for the other sake of life? I dont know man, although it is just solely a novel, but after watching it, it is really heartbreaking. One of the most heartbreaking scene is, when a female teacher asked the children what their dreams are? it really sad man, really really sad, given the fact that they ended up is just a donor.

When they meet up again, their conversation topic is, how many times you have donate? Questioning when is their completion (death, such a well-use of word)? Probably second time of donation would make them almost half dead. For my personal view of this movie, I would expect to see more about value of life, dont they get any suspicious of what are the purposes of their life, aren't they feel unfair and angry of their duty as knuckle down to the so-called faith? Anyway, I kind to like the idea of this story, as we are made by blood and flesh, and there is soul staying in our body? That's why we would feel pathetic and sorrow when seeing someone suffer, when especially someone loose his/her right of making-decision.

Oh yeah, another heart breaking is, their hand are wearing a some kind of detector device. When every time in and out, they have to scan through a detector beside the door. What is the matter? May be I hate being controlled or monitored, that's why seeing these scenes I'm very.... I dont know how to describe actually. Guys, if you after read my blog and get interested, go watch it, this movie really draw your heart-string! I dont really expressed the important part of the movie, let yourself experience it. :)

Children always innocent, and cute though.

MOVIES SHARING: Mysterious Skin

You may call me movie ambassador, I'm pleasure to heard that! lol
Whenever I have free time, I would randomly pick some movies, especially those movies are not reveal in Malaysia, I would always take a try!
Of course there are many movies I'd watched in this month (roughly from July to August),  but I'm only picked one, Mysterious Skin for my new post, which is deeply engraved in my mind, pathetic
Ok, let's start the synopsis.

This story is about two boys (only 8 years old) who homo-sexually abused by their baseball coach. One of the boys, Neil grown up as a dissipated teenage, who possesses destructive behavior and part time as a gay prostitute. Neil was believed that he perceived the real love from his coach in his early-age sex. Thus, his curiosity of developing sexuality and desire of love has leads him heading to New York city. Through the long hardship path, Neil's invulnerable dignity was devastated by a man from Brighton Beach who brutally rapes and beats him. (This scene was censored, but I watch this cruel scene again in YouTube, it was very terrified.) Neil was leave with bloody and broken from outside and inside, he was breakdown in washroom and feels his dignity as a man was totally being insulted.

Another nerd boy, Brian, who psychologically suffer in emotional trauma being sexually abused that cause amnesia of four hours in his past with bleeding nose. He believes that within "unmemorable" four hours was abducted by alien. Therefore, Brian curious to seek back what really happen in past during that particular 4 hours, isn't that UFO existed in this planet! Until Brian's self-discovering has leads him to meet Neil, which unlock the dark secret of his past. Brian was reluctantly accepts the dark-side of his past until Neil had disclosed the harsh reality torn. In the end, the unbearable past memories was a fact that engraved in depth of their heart. They have no choice, or turn back the clock, only endure, weeping away and acknowledge the truth, be brave to face next chapter of their life.

It was a pretty sad movie, especially with the ending where both of them crying on couch, the scene was dimly get dark and darker. It is portraying a miserable and pathetic of their dark past. Their past is a shade of sculpture, which never easily vanished and planted in their heart in the rest of life. However, for my personal view, both of them have the choice to live their life with bright of hope even though their past was such terrified. For Neil, who finally found the clear direction of his newborn life as experienced and learned along the harsh way that he through. He is courage to faced his past, accept the way he was and learned from fall and get up gain. On the other hand, Brian was living a self fabricated lie from his past, until he reveals the reality, he will bravely faces it.

MOVIES SHARING: Heiran

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9l5JOfHLlM

A desolate and beautiful love story happened in Iran, an Iranian girl (Mahi) falls in love at first sight with a refugee worker (Heiran) from Afghan in a bus. Due to the concise social-problem between two of them,  arise a strong opposition voice from her family. A lovesick Mahi rather abandoned her study in university, and she decides runs to Tehran finds Heiran to build a new life. Miserably, Heiran cannot able to obtain his visa, which considered as illegal worker and forced to return back his origin. In the end, Mahi carrying her baby with the endlessly weep and wail, chasing the bus for solely to see with her husband for last time.

This story line is relatively common where we can see in most of the tragedy love stories. You may even predict the whole story what is going to happen after next. But, in my personal view, each of the scene is very touching and emotional. I do can really feel the unreasoning passion of both lovebirds and suppressed by the fact of social-problem. Especially in the end, it was my "touchest" part, where Mahi chasing the bus. One of the sweetest and romantic memory is, where Mahi holding the flowers and sitting at Heiran's back while he is cycling. That day is raining, which portraying a wail scene and the flowers are symbolize a beautiful relation but is short, just like a flower will be wither away... But, I believe their love is endless, even though they are separated.

I had a deep impression of this movie from the beginning of the story, when Mahi said: which part is my story? in the beginning? middle or end? Sometimes I was lost and make some weird thought, don't even know where should I start for my life? Is this just my beginning of my life? or maybe next day I die will be the end of my life? How about after my death? haha... suddenly this kind of weird feeling just pop out again from my mind, unreasoningly... maybe i'm too pessimistic.... :)

MOVIES SHARING: Dead Silence

Beware the stare of Mary Shaw
She has no children only dolls
And if you see her in your dreams
Beware to never ever scream

Shhh.... when you see Mary Shaw, you dont ever scream, if not, your tongue will be tugged.... this will be a thrilled challenge, when you shocked by her appearance, but cannot scream.... damn scary man.. haha

I am "immune" from horror movies of watching those Hollywood, Thailand, Japan and Korean horror movies. But this movie, waoh, tremendously blow away my "immune" of horror movie, and bring back some phobia memories when I was a kid.

With unknown reason, I was scared of dolls. I always imagined that dolls would talk or suddenly open their eyes when I already closed it. Another one, even more thrill, clown! I feel they are just pretend who always smile on face, but inside is full of vicious and wicked.... haha...  Therefore, I dont like McD when i was child, because that wicked clown. ( That clown was innocent.) hahaha

Mary Shaw tugs people tongue as because she was a ventriloquist, then, she can intimates someone else voice as the person was killed.. Moreover, she got 101 dolls. When she died, all the dolls just like her children, all buried together with her, but only left one, Billy hasn't buried yet... Thus, when you received a doll called Billy, beware man! hahaha... the funniest thing is, my name was one of the her doll collection, which was buried... hahaha... my friends watched this scene were laughed like hell....

If u wanna watch movie, start practice now, do not scream, shhhh.... Beware~~~

Julie & Julia

Just finished watching Julie and Julia, I only realized that blogger is how vast and influential. If possible, unconsciously, your words might influence someone's minds or thought after reading your post, blog.. Actually i don't really interest on these kind of "woman's movie", but because of Meryl Streep, I had watched this movie and The Hours.

Both of these movies are portraying how an author or a person influence the another person(s)'s thought even though in the separated time. The human's ideology might changes follow the change of time, but somehow human's inner core of behavior will never change and always fears to express for the reality. Sometimes, we will draw the bow but not discharge the arrow, no doubt, when we encouraged or influenced by another person who experienced the fails of fulfilling his /her dream, then we would not follow his/her footprint, decide the road what his/her encouraged or desired to do so....

Sometimes I'll easily get bored for watching a "colorless" movie, but when I watch alone and quietly, is kind of "intoxicated", but not in the exciting way, is pretty upset actually.... I dont know, Julie and Julia, in final part, even though Julie was so impressed Julia and succeed to challenge the Julia's recipe, but turn out arises the detest from Julia. Anyway, at least, Julia had discovers what she actually wants and what she supposed to do in her life, which influenced by Julie.

In fact, many things come are not meet our expectation, consequently, we will start to give up the dream or desire where keep inside the innermost being... are we really need someone to give us courage or inspire us, or supporting our backbone to fight for our own dream? i dont really know... as human being, somewhere we really need... :)
